I’am a proud Filipina and my country is definitely one of the most amazing place i’ve seen. Philippines are known for nice beaches……yes beaches not the other word lol. But other than that the amazing views and exceptional body of water, I’am really proud to say that we have a lot of warm and nice people everywhere you go. People in the Philippines are always smiling even they are in a tough situation of life. I love that i am a Filipino. In this blog i will take you places, show you our culture, history and tell you my stories.

Cebu City

I was born in Cebu City but i grew up in Olongapo, so whenever we get a chance we always visit my province and our relatives there. There’s so much things to see in Cebu and whenever we’re here we check out places. I will show you the few places i’ve been that i know is worth of your time and money.

Simala Church

We all know that Filipino is religious people, Simala Church is definitely on your list if you are. This place is full of history and amazing architecture, perfect for picture. And lets not forget the main goal of going here is to praised and pray. This is a perfect place specially for devoted people.

Simala Church was built in the 1990s but was only known to locals until recently. The church is located atop a hill in Barangay Lindogon, Simala, Cebu, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared. Simala have an inspiring architecture from its towering spires, intricate details, and medieval-inspired design, the church replicates a castle that looks and feels like something straight from a fairy tale.Beyond its beautiful architecture, Simala Church is also exquisitely decorated with several religious artworks.

Temple of Leah

A short visit here in the temple is located in the beautiful and serene hills of Busay, Cebu. The structure of the temple is made up of 24 chambers, each representing the different aspects of Leah’s life, such as her love for music and her passion for education. The main attraction inside the temple is the larger-than-life bronze statue of Leah, which stands at the center of the chamber. The statue is surrounded by portraits of Leah, a collection of her memorabilia and artifacts, and a library with over 10,000 books, all belonging to Teodorico Adarna.

Kawasan Falls

Cebu City is knows for having different kinds of waterfalls. Kawasan is one of them and this is one of the few falls i visited. You need a motorcycle going here and they have that service waiting for you down hill or you can rent a motorcycle yourself (roads can be tricky tho). Kawasan Falls is located in Barangay Matutinao, Badian, Cebu, and is known for its crystal-clear turquoise water, cascading falls, and lush greenery. It is a three-tiered waterfall that stands at approximately 40 meters high. To get to Kawasan Falls, you’ll have to trek through the jungle. The trek is relatively easy and will take you roughly 20-30 minutes. Along the way, you’ll come across a few small waterfalls and natural pools, where you can stop and take a dip.

Taal Volcano

Going to Taal is definitely an unforgettable moment. It’s my first time to actually go near any type of Volcano. The most exciting part of my visit is this volcano just erupted few back. Seeing it from far afar is something else but getting a up close encounter is magical. The boat ride may take around 30 to 45 minutes, and the boatman will take you to the volcano’s island, where you can begin your trek. You can also rent a horse that will take you to the top of the crater, should you prefer to ride rather than hike. Once you reach the volcanic crater, you’ll see the amazing aerial view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It is a breathtaking sight to behold and an excellent spot for taking photos or videos. Since we cant really do trekking because of the volcano situation, we still had a tour around it. The mark of the eruption is still fresh and you can still see the “beautiful disaster” it did around the mountains. My volcano experience is definitely memorable.

Boracay

The Boracay island is one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines. With its crystal-clear turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, and stunning sunsets, it’s not hard to see why. Whether you’re a first-timer, a frequent visitor, or an expat, you’ll find everything you need to know to make the most out of your trip to Boracay.

I celebrated my 31st birthday here and im glad I did. It’s a place where you will appreciate the nature more because people living in this island actually take good care of it. There’s a lot of tourists here because it’s one of a kind. How do I describe it on my own words?…… Beautiful beaches, amazing food, great entertainment at night, the local people is really nice…. and they have 24 hours store yay!!!!!lol. Beside everything that i mentioned you can also book travel tours and activities. I did the island hopping and parasailing (but they have more to offer)and it was amazing!

One of the hightlight of my trip is the Puka Island and i would really recommend for you guys to stay here for a day or two. This place will never disappoint you.

Coron Palawan

Coron, Palawan – an island paradise situated in the western part of the Philippines. This place offers a perfect combination of clear blue waters, stunning beaches, breathtaking landscapes, and rich marine life, making it a popular destination for travelers, vacationers, tourists, expats, and digital nomads alike. Coron is rich in natural wonders that will take your breath away. Kayangan Lake, for instance, is a crystal-clear lake surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. The view is nothing short of breathtaking, and it’s no wonder why it’s one of the most photographed places in all of Palawan. One of the best beaches i’ve seen that’s for sure! I remember being here the very first time and i was mind blown how its actually look like in the picture. If you’re looking for a place to relax, unwind, and escape the hustle and bustle of city life, then Coron should definitely be on your list.
